Daniel & Gabriela
Daniel’s lifelong devotion to vintage cars began at the age of 10. His journey started in the role of a mechanic, carving out a niche for himself with his own automotive repair shop. Over time, his remarkable talents were recognized by an Auto Museum, where he spent a decade meticulously preserving the automotive treasures within.
However, fate took a turn when the museum’s owner passed away. In the wake of this loss, Daniel embarked on a new chapter, opening his own restoration haven, known as KR Restoration. Here, he skillfully tackles every aspect of vintage car rejuvenation, from parts repair and mechanical work, to upholstery, body work and paint on a vehicle. Daniel thrives on the exhilarating challenge of transforming a weathered relic into a pristine masterpiece that looks better than it did when it left the factory.
His craftsmanship extends far beyond the workshop’s walls, as Daniel has had the honor of preparing, driving, and showcasing several exceptional vehicles at prestigious events such as: the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance, Vail Automotive Classics, and the Morgan Adams Concours, among many other luxurious car exhibitions.
In his rare moments of downtime, Daniel’s passion extends to his love for racing, and anything that goes fast or has an engine. He shares this passion with his equally devoted partner, Gabriela, whose serendipitous encounter with Daniel at the auto museum solidified their bond over a mutual adoration for classic cars. Together, they run the shop, with Gabriela not only managing the financial aspects but also lending her skilled hands whenever a part needs replacement, a seat requires expert upholstery, or a car necessitates a meticulous disassembly down to its frame.
As a formidable team, they deliver nothing short of exceptional service, readily embracing even the most daunting projects to fuel their boundless affection for the world of automobiles.
